Joelle's background is in Retail Management, as an Operations Manager. Her background is in Human Resources, Employment Relations, and developing and coaching Staff. She is excited to be working here at Te Kupenga Hauora - Ahuriri. The kaupapa around serving the community and our whānau māori is exciting.

Through Joelle's role as Corporate Services Manager she is hoping to enhance and uphold the foundations that have already been laid beforehand, ensuring our Mana is upheld, and our Vision of being the Leading Provider of Kaupapa Māori-driven, evidence-based, health and social services in the greater Hawkes Bay region continues.

Joelle's interests outside of mahi are spending quality time with whanau and friends. Her dream is to travel around the South Island in a Campervan with her son and to explore the rest of beautiful Aotearoa.

When Joelle was asked "what has been your greatest achievement in life", her response was, "my greatest achievements to date are my son (who is my pride and joy);  building my Papakainga at my marae here in Hawkes Bay; and being a Cyclist in three 'Quarter Iron Maori' events!
