Paige

Lead Manager Whānau Wellbeing
Joined the team May 2024

Paige was asked what she liked about her role? Her reply was, "learning from unique individuals from all walks of life with untold Pūrakau that carry so much spark within them, and plant specks of light in your manawa that you know will stay with you forever".

An important message that Paige would like to share is, what she cherishes most is recognising potential in others and encouraging them to believe in themselves. Watching people strive, grow, and gain confidence in their abilities to succeed is incredibly rewarding. Aroha, manaakitanga, kotahitanga, kaitiakitanga, and wairuatanga are among the many treasures that empower us to achieve our aspirations. These values also support our journey towards personal wellbeing for the benefit of our whānau, iwi, hapū, mokopuna and future generations. Paige's goal is to show this throughout her leadership in the hope that kaimahi will reflect this in their practise and in how they manaaki our people in the hāpori, and wherever they journey to.

Outside of mahi Paige enjoys spending a fine day in the māra kai and spending time with her mokopuna, as these 'Fill her cup' so she can serve our people well. They are her teachers.

Paige’s greatest achievement is her whānau - they have taught her to be tau over her lifetime and have showed her empathy and aroha in her darkest hours. They give her determination and passion every day to be tika and pono in what she does and to hold integrity.
