Community Support Worker - Health Team Admin Support
Joined the team July 2013

Sue enjoys working with the Hauora (Health) Team - they are the greatest team to be a part of. She enjoys being able to support the team & lessen their workloads, as they manage so many different and difficult services. They are all passionate about their roles, and she admires the dignity and respect that they have for each other and how they treat our whānau. Sue is passionate about Health Checks and she encourages everyone to keep up with these as they save lives.

Approximately six years ago, Sue worked at Te Kupenga Hauora - Ahuriri as the Dental Health Educator. This role involved visiting tamariki and teaching them the importance of dental hygiene.

Sue believes in helping her whānau and those in need.  She loves her religious beliefs that teach us to be kind to people, to be happy and to never give up hope for a brighter future, even in a world that is saturated with strife, violence and war.  She grieves for children caught up in all this trouble and, she contributes financially to their relief, through her religion.

Sue’s greatest achievement is having worked for another Company for 60 years and, she is their longest serving employee. Sue still works there casually, and whenever they need her. She was their Office Manager for 40 years and she trained the current Office Manager who is now a shareholder and Director in that Company.
